WEEK 2

 

INTRODUCTION

 

This is our second week of our FPA 150 project. During this week's land cleaning, we will be cleaning the lemongrass plot. To maintain the lemongrass, it is necessary to remove all the weeds that grow around it. To maintain the lemongrass, it is essential to remove all the weeds that grow around it. Additionally, all weeds pulled manually must be collected in a place away from the lemongrass.

 

OBJECTIVES

- To expose students how to manage weed in lemongrass

 

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

- Hoe

- Machete

- Boot

- Glove

 

6:20 am. 

-        We must gather at carpark front of Blok Kuliah. We have check and sign attendance. The class rep needs to make sure the classmate does not skip and are enough. 

6:40 am.

-         After our class rep pass the attendance to Planters Executive (PE), we must do a warming up and exercise. This activity needs to do to make sure our body is warm and energetic to work. 

7:00 am 

-         We must turn down to Aggrotech Plantation for attend a rollcall with part 1, part 2, and part 3. We sing a National Anthem, Wawasan Setia Warga UiTM and Planters Song. After that, PE that in charge give a briefing about task today. 

 

8:00 am. 

-        The last, class C must make clearing at Lemongrass side and remove the weed. Lecture give a briefing to divide the work to the class. Lecture also give a briefing about how to do a clearing and why to do the clearing.

8:30 am.

-        We take a tool at store to use to make a clearing and go to the lemongrass side. After arriving at lemongrass side, we need to wear a boot and start doing out task.

 10:30 am

-         After settle the task, we rest and drink the water. After that we need to wash the tools and put I and arrange at the store. After that we can disperse

WEEK 6 ( Fertilizer, Survey and cleaning).
